TMH Introduces New Generation Railway Cars in Nur-Sultan

In Nur-Sultan, at the Coach Assembly Factory “Tulpar”, a presentation of new passenger and special cars issued by one of the largest Russian manufacturers of rolling stock for rail vehicles of Transmashholding JSC (TMH) was held.

The new generation wagons were demonstrated to the management and specialists of “Kazakhstan Railways”, the meeting was attended by the chairman of the board of “KTZ” NC Sauat Mynbaev and the general director of TMH Kirill Lipa.

The number of exhibits included modern single-deck and double-decker locomotive-hauled passenger cars, including those built on the principle of a two-car trailer. An electric train of the city type “Ivolga”, a RA-3 rail bus, baggage and mail and special cars, as well as a TEM28 shunting locomotive were presented.

During the presentation, the novelties of 2019 that are already in operation in Russia were shown. As equipment manufacturers noted, the company's main priorities are passenger comfort and safety. That is why the cars are equipped with the latest technology and new solutions are being introduced: video surveillance, air disinfection, showers, safes, children's areas, vending machines, Wi-Fi and much more

Here so much is provided for the convenience, comfort and safety of passengers: sockets, safes, personal compartment key cards, video surveillance cameras, in a double-stored staff wagon - a creative idea of organizing space for children. Very correct approaches to creating comfortable conditions for the population, for passengers,” -said Satzhan Uzbekov, chief expert of the Department of Railway Transport of the Transport Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the presentation.

We should note that TMH has been actively cooperating with KTZ and other enterprises operating in the republic for many years. Over the years, Kazakhstan delivered shunting and diesel locomotives, AC electric trains and passenger locomotive-hauled cars. Transmashholding participates in the capital of two Kazakhstani enterprises - the EKZ electric locomotive plant and the LKZ diesel locomotive plant - whose products are operated in Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
